Through Purelure’s in-house HX rod blank manufacturing process, we have been able to improve the performance and strength of our rods. We have maximized the tensile strength and allowed anglers to be able to cast extremely low weight lures. In addition to this, we have designed our rod blanks to suppress unnecessary flexing during casts in order to improve accuracy and reduce backlashes.

The DKK brackets are constructed of TC4 or Grade 5 Titanium alloy and utilize a strengthened blue Aluminum Oxide ring insert. The short length was specifically developed for one handed casting for tight quarters and small spaces. Through the use of the titanium alloy rod tip we have improved the casting ability of our rods and the control anglers have over their lures. The titanium tip has a higher specific gravity compared to carbon fiber tips allowing it to be more flexible and resilient. These characteristics give the rod an advantage during casting and the flexibility allows lures to have a better action.

Specifically designed for area trout, managed fishing grounds and smaller urban rivers, this design incorporates a MF action which distinguishes it from the other models in the lineup. This model is ideal for mid-range casting with small lures and is very sensitive with small bites being able to be transmitted directly to the angler.
